Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, marketing, public relations, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of experience managing and attending events, activations, sponsorships, or experiential marketing programs is required.
  • Budget management experience is required.
  • The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role requires strong organizational, interpersonal, administrative, verbal communication, written communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • The candidate must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • The candidate must be able to effectively interact with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • The candidate must have a passion for sports, casinos, and/or sports and casino betting.
  • The candidate must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The candidate must be located within 100 miles of an office site in Cherry Hill, New Jersey; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; or Toronto, Ontario.
  • The role requires the ability to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The role requires close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • The candidate must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Events Manager with planning, coordinating, and executing PENN Interactive events and player experiences aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain event databases, budgets, calendars, reports, booking records, and other event-related documentation.
  • Assist with event logistics, including ticket distribution, guest lists, seating charts, food and beverage selections and quantities, travel and accommodations, vendor coordination, and other event needs.
  • Provide on-site support at events, including setup, staffing, guest experience, troubleshooting, vendor support, and breakdown.
  • Assist with shipment, delivery, tracking, and inventory of event supplies, merchandise, swag, and branded materials, including sourcing promotional items.
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams, property stakeholders, vendors, venues, and other external partners during planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and other internal teams to ensure event and vendor requirements are met.
  • Provide ad hoc support for activations and experiential marketing programs, including planning and on-site execution.
  • Research event opportunities and gather information to support planning and recommendations from the Events Manager.
  • Assist with event reporting, spend tracking, return-on-investment analysis, and post-event recaps.
  • Manage multiple events and projects while adapting to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
