Requirements
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX design work.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc. (Figma is a plus, but not required)
  • Proven understanding and experience design for A and AA accessibility
  • Experience with wireframing, user flows, and interactive prototyping.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience working with web experimentation platforms (Ideally Optimize / Optimizely) and understanding technical capabilities to ensure that solutions are feasible
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale clearly.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data tools such as GA, Content Square is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
  • User Research: In conjunction with partner teams, you will analyse user interviews, web analytics (GA / Content Square), usability tests, and other research methods to gather insights on user needs and pain points.
  • Comms strategy and business objectives: You will work closely with the lead strategist to ensure the business objectives are being considered at every stage of the journey
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups for new features or improvements.
  • Interaction Design: Working with the UI designer to design intuitive and efficient user interfaces that facilitate ease of use and provide a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with the web team, client teams, design and copy to ensure the design vision aligns with technical feasibility and business goals.
  • Client facing: You will work directly with clients, stakeholders and internal teams – confident in being able to lead from a UX perspective in ideation sessions through to presenting and delivering UX and design solutions
  • Design Systems & Consistency: Maintain and contribute to a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across the product.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices to continuously improve the user experience.
