Requirements
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years with an advanced degree such as a Master’s, MBA, JD, or MD, or 2 years with a PhD.
  • The ability to quickly understand technical aspects and Visa’s authentication solution set and critically evaluate how they should be integrated.
  • Technical subject-matter expertise in the EMVCo 3-D Secure 2.X specifications sufficient to interpret the specification and apply it to implementations.
  • The ability to provide technical support and consultation to issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and 3-D Secure vendors.
  • Digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.
Responsibilities
  • Explore ways to increase Visa engagement with the more than 300 3DS service providers connected to the Visa Secure Directory Server.
  • Monitor ecosystem product performance with clients and through data analysis to improve performance and service quality for stakeholders.
  • Define the roadmap and execute delivery for enablement of the next version of EMV 3DS 2.X adoption.
  • Direct product strategy from conception and definition through implementation.
  • Identify new business and market opportunities and develop business plans.
  • Determine product market requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a central resource with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.
  • Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.
  • Promote adoption of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX design, data science, and risk teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant product delivery.
  • Work with regional product teams to ensure global strategies are actionable and locally relevant.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 9 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, at least 7 years with an advanced degree such as a Master’s, MBA, JD, or MD, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Experience as a product manager, product owner, business process analyst, or in sales operations.
  • Experience applying Agile principles across design, development, testing, and product management.
  • Experience developing software capabilities supporting sales, service, or customer relationship management functions.
  • Experience multitasking, organizing, managing, and implementing complex projects directly or through supervision.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with systems, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and managing tradeoffs in product development.
  • Experience identifying points of failure and formulating error-handling approaches for product resiliency.
  • Understanding of payment processing and the payment landscape.
  • Ability to work in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment and influence senior management and other relevant parties.
