Position Overview

General Responsibilities
Vee is looking for an industrial-organizational psychology PhD intern who will assist in our implementation of a validated scale that helps our purpose-driven work align client executive stakeholders on critical business issues. Ideally you are someone who is inquisitive, skeptical, insightful, achievement orientated, self-driven, investigative, curious, and have great communication skills.
As part of this internship, you will work with the People Science team at Vee to help develop and validate dependent variables correlated with our already validate scale, conduct internal and external research projects to benefit our clients, sit in on strategy meetings and be asked to brainstorm and come up with new ideas, conduct data analysis, etc.
You will collaborate with our teams in Data Science, Data Engineering, and our Product Development team.
Skills and Experience
- minimum second-year doctorate (PhD) degree in progress at an accredited Industrial and Organizational Psychology program
-Experience in I/O psychology research, including generating ideas from research, creating methodologies, and data analysis
-Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, cluster analysis, latent profile analysis, hierarchical linear modeling, choice modeling, social network analysis, Bayesian methodologies, etc.)
-Strong communication skills with a growth and learning mindset
-Experience presenting to C-level executives or stakeholders
-Ability to translate the needs of our customers internally and externally
-Client relationship management skills, such as, expectation management, negotiation skills, and influencer skills.
-Proficient in R or Python
-An investigative mindset, always asking questions and ready to take on new projects
