OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Associate UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and growing Industrial design team. As an Associate UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in developing user interfaces for both physical and digital products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, user-centered designs. You will contribute to all stages of the design process, from concept development to prototyping and product implementation, ensuring that our products elevate the user experience and drive consumer satisfaction.

Ninja Design Team is a team of Industrial Designers, UI/UX and CMF Designers working on products across the brand and categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design Collaboration:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to conceptualize, fostering innovation and problem-solving; develop and visualize physical and digital user interfaces for consumer products.
• Support Industrial Design/UI Design leads to contribute to the success of design projects; own and contribute to all stages of the UI design process from concept to production.

1. User-Centered Design:

• Apply a user-centered design approach to transform consumer insights into meaningful and delightful product solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with user needs and expectations.

1. Interface Development:

• Develop layouts for physical/digital user interfaces for household products from concept to production.
• Conceptualize and visualize design solutions, generating high-quality materials for presentations.

1. Prototyping and Specification:

• Create prototypes for research and internal review, refining designs based on user feedback.
• Articulate and specify design intent for manufacturing, including layout, graphics, interaction, and touchpoint behavior.

1. Innovation and Brand Strategy:

• Understand SharkNinja’s brands and contribute to defining the company’s future product development strategies.
• Creatively solve complex problems to enhance product functionality and user satisfaction.
• Ensure design solutions align with brand identity and business objectives.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree required in U/UX Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in user interface development for both hardware and digital products.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools: sketching, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
• Strong analytical thinking that leads to creative solutions and innovative ideas
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment,
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design work and process documentation required.
