- Good understanding of how to test image and video quality characteristics in the field, including Auto Exposure, Auto Focus, and White Balance.
- Excellent sense of photography, videography, and cinematography on both technical and artistic levels, and understanding of what makes a good photograph or video.

- Active participation in quality evaluations for new features and algorithms through experimental studies in the lab and in the field.
- Providing direct feedback to the engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation, including color accuracy, noise reduction, HDR, tone mapping, and sharpness.
- Strong understanding of imaging systems, including camera sensors, optics, image signal processors, and computational photography techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work cross functionally.
- M.S. or PH.D. in Imaging, Color, Vision, Computer, Optics Science, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in a related field.
