Requirements

  • The candidate must be capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties, including Drive-Up and carryout.
  • The candidate must remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience, and model, train, and coach service expectations.
  • Understand how each business area contributes to sales growth and total store profitability.
  • Lead and demonstrate execution of team onboarding and learning best practices, and close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team interactions.
  • Problem-solve and prioritize across multiple business areas to execute store strategies initiated by the Store Director or Executive Team Leader and deliver business results and store sales goals.
  • Assist leaders through communication and collaboration to influence current sales performance and workload deliverables, using daily check-ins, check-outs, and meetings as connection points.
  • Support store operations by establishing consistent routines and helping ensure departments are zoned, in stock, signed, and labeled appropriately for the next day.
  • Use business planning tools to share priorities and business updates with store leadership.
  • Take action to achieve performance goals.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
  • Support team onboarding and learning, and help close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team member interactions.
  • Support leaders in establishing clear goals and expectations, hold team members accountable, and share performance feedback with leaders as needed.
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs.
  • Lead and hold the team accountable for ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Lead the safety culture by modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding the team accountable to safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting and investigating injuries accurately and promptly.
  • Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
  • Demonstrate how to engage with guests, provide assistance in a welcoming way, and solve their specific needs.
  • Lead by thanking guests and acknowledging their choice to shop at Target.
  • Model physical security processes to enhance the in-store security culture.
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application as directed by best practices.
  • Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive Up orders, and Drive Up returns while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
