Requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and Goodwill employees.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all customers.

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to seven hours per eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and courteous service to all customers inside and outside the store and over the phone.
  • Place merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Ensure items are rung accurately on the register.
  • Handle cash accurately, including making change, operating and maintaining the cash register, operating check and charge card machines, and using a calculator.
  • Maintain knowledge of merchandise and answer customers’ questions courteously and promptly.
  • Keep floor merchandise neat and orderly on racks, shelves, bins, and hangers, and assist customers with purchase selections.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean register area.
  • Maintain familiarity with store security procedures and exercise security practices when necessary.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping shelves, and dusting store areas, restrooms, and dressing rooms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of six months of previous work experience.
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment.
  • Excellent customer service-related skills.
  • Working knowledge of a cash register.
  • Multilingual capability with complete fluency in English.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
