About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to represent our Infrastructure Cloud solutions portfolio.
In this role, you will need to understand customer problems and valued outcomes across the cloud infrastructure management space. This knowledge can be collected through 1:1 customer conversations, HashiCcorp Customer Advisory Board interactions, webinars, meet-ups, user groups, trade shows, conferences and more. You will need to bring in this knowledge to the relevant product managers to influence them to build and prioritize our roadmap towards end to end solution journeys that have clear high value outcomes for our customers.
You will work closely with the Growth and Digital Marketing team to help organize effective Customer Advisory Board sessions that represent our target customer profile. You will build close relationships with customers on the Customer Advisory Board.
You will work closely with our Field Operations team and Marketing team to position, package and enable sales to effectively sell solutions that address their user journeys with high value outcomes. This will drive faster sales cycles and increased adoption of multi-product solutions.
This person will report to the VP of Product Management.
In this role you can expect to:
- Stay close to industry trends and relevant market information so as to be viewed as an industry thought leader which involves interfacing with industry analysts and sharing HashiCorp’s perspective
- Understand the value proposition of strategic and tactical concepts for complex enterprise use cases
- Confidently evangelize, demo and present typical infrastructure cloud use cases and how our products fit and deliver high value customer outcomes within those use cases to audiences of all sizes. This includes using and demoing the products.
- Participate in dynamic conversations and positively influence practitioners and technical decision makers within global 2000 organizations
- Work closely with sales, marketing and other cross-functional teams to drive solution positioning, awareness and adoption
- Organize effective Customer Advisory Board meetings working with Marketing and communicate synthesized input to influence product direction
- Influence PMs across the company to prioritize and build capabilities that map to infrastructure cloud use cases so that we build enterprise class end to end solutions with high customer and business impact. Provide input to the portfolio level strategy. Write or provide input to solution requirements.
- Communicate key findings from customers on solution level feedback, strengths and opportunities to executives on a regular basis
You may be a good fit for the team if you have:
- 10+ years in product management, technical marketing, solution engineering, sales engineering
- Engineering/CS/MIS Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Technical background in developer tooling, DevOps, or Infrastructure. Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Experience delivering a product in multiple forms - open source, enterprise, cloud/SaaS solutions.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams to influence product strategies
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$263,500—$310,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:
$241,500—$284,100 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$219,600—$258,300 USD
