Wellscript provides personalized medical nutrition therapy for people with chronic diseases by linking patients with registered dietitians through a telehealth platform. Physicians prescribe the nutrition care, and patients receive ongoing, data-driven nutrition plans and support from dietitians who adjust plans as needed. The service is designed to fit into the healthcare system, aiming to be accessible and affordable and often covered by insurance such as Medicare Part B. Unlike standalone nutrition coaching apps, Wellscript partners with healthcare providers and health systems to integrate nutrition care into regular medical management. The goal is to improve health outcomes for conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease while helping to lower overall healthcare costs by preventing complications and hospitalizations.

What believers are saying

  • The 2026 careers page suggests ongoing hiring and operational continuity.
  • Updated 2026 service pages show active product maintenance across infusion and enteral nutrition.
  • 24/7 access and provider partnerships strengthen retention in complex, recurring-care workflows.

What critics are saying

  • The brand is muddled: 2026 pages show infusion therapy, not the chronic-disease startup story.
  • No recent funding, hiring growth, or press coverage signals a scaling business.
  • Wellscript depends on insurance reimbursement and provider referrals; losing either quickly compresses volume.

What makes Wellscript unique

  • Wellscript combines infusion, enteral nutrition, and 24/7 support in one local platform.
  • Its pharmacists, nurses, technicians, and dietitian coordinate care with providers and insurers.
  • It markets partnership-ready clinical and administrative support to healthcare organizations and manufacturers.
