Requirements
- BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in biotech / pharmaceutical marketing with at least 5 years in oncology, including a deep understanding of the digital space
Responsibilities
- Lead HCP and patient marketing promotion and tactics for the oncology division
- Build a highly talented team in preparation for the launch of relacorilant in ovarian cancer
- Drive the brand strategy process and tactical planning in collaboration with team members from Medical Affairs, Market Access, Business Analytics, and Sales
- Develop the brand positioning and messaging
- Implement innovative strategies to differentiate the company and the brand, based on relevant customer insights
- Develop and execute market development initiatives, including disease state education, to raise awareness for the potential role of cortisol modulation in gynecological oncology
- Partner with Medical Affairs in building relationships with KOLs and patient advocacy groups
- Lead branded & unbranded campaigns
- Develop print and digital assets
- Manage media investment/channels and develop optimal analytics measures of digital performance to support business objectives
- Support the development of the omnichannel digital strategy and implementation
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with accountability for managing the brand towards shared goals
- Conduct primary market research to garner market and customer insights that drive the development of brand strategy and communications
- Work closely with sales leadership and training to implement the brand strategy and ensure effective sales force training
- Oversee the medical legal regulatory process
- Collaborate across the organization to scale up the process and optimize for launch
- Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets to ensure business objectives are met
- Support national and regional congress execution, including cross-functional congress planning, booth design, and execution of commercial tactics, sponsorships, and events
- Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials
