  • Quota-carrying sales or solution consulting experience with customer-facing experience.
  • Advanced working fluency in artificial-intelligence-assisted content creation and productivity workflows, including artificial-intelligence role-play configuration, video module production, and presentation design tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, HeyGen, and Gamma or equivalent tools.
  • Proficiency in the Gong intelligence platform to identify field gaps, track narrative adoption, and surface coaching signals.
  • Familiarity with instructional design frameworks including ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and Bloom's Taxonomy, and the ability to apply them without over-engineering programs.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize repeatable enablement frameworks, templates, and production workflows to improve speed and consistency.

  • Partner with subject-matter experts to turn product and strategy content into seller-ready narratives, talk tracks, and customer-facing conversation patterns.
  • Build a manager-first motion for major programs, including manager previews, coaching guides, reinforcement prompts, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Equip frontline leaders with reinforcement that fits team meetings, deal reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Develop monthly manager enablement kits that help leaders coach to the behavior standard.
  • Use artificial intelligence to generate first drafts of decks, scripts, coaching tools, role-play scenarios, and reinforcement assets, then refine them for field realism and executive polish.
  • Leverage Claude Code, Claude Co-Work, Claude Design, or comparable artificial-intelligence-assisted coding tools to automate repeatable enablement workflows such as content packaging, template generation, assessment formatting, and report scaffolding.
  • Design scalable practice experiences using artificial-intelligence role-play tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and NotebookLM, including scoring rubrics and feedback loops.
  • Define leading and lagging success metrics for each program, including confidence, adoption, narrative usage in calls, discovery quality, stage progression, attach rate, and win-rate signals.
  • Use Gong to identify messaging breakdowns, track narrative adoption, and surface coaching opportunities for managers.
  • Build lightweight leadership reporting that connects enablement activity to field behavior signals and downstream impact, and iterate programs based on field behavior.
  • Partner with product marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, and Customer Success Leadership to align enablement priorities with business goals and field reality.
  • Translate strategy into what sellers say, do, and practice in live deals.
  • Drive alignment across regions and segments by adapting delivery while maintaining narrative consistency and measurement standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Self-directed and scrappy, with the ability to work effectively without perfect conditions or a large supporting team at global scale.

BigCommerce Q2 beats guidance with $84.5M revenue, but lowers full-year outlook

BigCommerce reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $84.5 million and non-GAAP operating income of $8.1 million, surpassing its guidance of $4 million to $5 million. Net revenue retention improved to 95.8%, whilst gross merchandise value rose 14% year-over-year to $8.8 billion. The company posted positive GAAP net income for the second consecutive quarter and remains on track for full-year GAAP profitability. Non-GAAP operating margin reached 9.6%, up nearly 400 basis points from a year earlier. However, BigCommerce lowered its full-year outlook, citing a narrower partner strategy, softer B2C replatforming demand and increased AI-related costs. B2B remained stronger with 17% GMV growth, though longer customer decision cycles are affecting new-account bookings. The company is prioritising AI development, with planned launches including data-enrichment tools and AI-powered search.

New strategic partnership will help growing brands modernize their eCommerce storefronts while preserving the WordPress content, SEO, and customer experiences they've already built AUSTIN, Texas-BUSINESS WIRE- WP Engine, a global web enablement company providing premium products and solutions for websites built on WordPress(R)[1], today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Commerce (NASDAQ: CMRC), a data-centric provider of an open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem and the parent company of leading eCommerce platform BigCommerce(R)[2]. The new strategic partnership will launch WP Engine Commerce Connect for BigCommerce to help high-growth mid-market brands compete in the new era of content-driven commerce. Announcing a new strategic partnership: WP Engine Commerce Connect for BigCommerce will help growing brands modernize their eCommerce storefronts while preserving the WordPress content, SEO, and customer experiences they've already built. As eCommerce businesses grow, so do the demands on their storefronts. Larger product catalogs, higher traffic volumes, and increasingly sophisticated commerce requirements often outpace the platforms brands started with. WP Engine Commerce Connect for BigCommerce gives growing businesses a path to modernize their commerce capabilities while preserving the WordPress content, SEO, design, and digital experiences they've already invested in. "Growing eCommerce brands shouldn't have to choose between the WordPress experience they've invested in and the commerce capabilities they need to scale," said Heather Brunner, Chairwoman and CEO at WP Engine. "Our partnership with BigCommerce gives brands the flexibility to scale confidently, adapt as their business evolves, and build for what's next." By connecting BigCommerce's commerce platform with WP Engine's platform, high-growth mid-market brands can scale their eCommerce capabilities while leveraging the power of WordPress. Keeping content and commerce connected also helps brands maintain consistent product information across their digital experiences, creating richer shopping journeys while strengthening product visibility as AI-powered search and discovery continue to evolve. With WP Engine's Commerce Connect for BigCommerce, web teams will be able to: * Preserve brand experience and design investment. Existing WordPress themes, custom designs, and front-end experiences are fully retained, allowing brands and agencies to evolve a commerce stack without losing any prior creative or UX investments. * Maintain always-on commerce experiences. Sites remain fully operational during upgrades, ensuring uninterrupted customer engagement and revenue generation. * Protect SEO equity and web traffic. URL structures and site architecture remain intact, helping brands avoid traffic loss and maintain search visibility during platform upgrades or commerce transformations. * Seamlessly migrate WordPress content to the platform. Enhance eCommerce and content infrastructure without rebuilding the site or interrupting operations. * Reduce implementation risk. Agencies can implement modern commerce capabilities without complex rebuilds, reducing migration risk, accelerating delivery timelines, and minimizing disruption for client sites. "Commerce is becoming more complex as brands compete across more channels, more customer touchpoints, and now AI-powered buying experiences," said Travis Hess, CEO of Commerce. Waterco modernizes B2B ordering with BigCommerce, improving ordering and buying efficiency across 45,000 products.

Waterco modernizes B2B ordering with BigCommerce, improving ordering and buying efficiency across 45,000 products. The pool and water solutions manufacturer replaces manual phone and email ordering with a scalable digital commerce platform that simplifies purchasing for customers and streamlines operations. AUSTIN, Texas and SYDNEY, July 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Commerce (Nasdaq: CMRC), a data-centric provider of an open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem and the parent company of ecommerce platform BigCommerce, has today announced that Waterco, a global manufacturer and distributor of swimming pool products, has launched a new B2B buying experience on BigCommerce. By moving from a phone- and email-based ordering process to a modern self-service experience, Waterco is making it easier for customers to browse products, check inventory, place orders and manage their accounts online at any time. The new platform supports more than 45,000 products and helps Waterco improve operational efficiency while delivering a faster, more convenient purchasing experience. Founded in 1981, Waterco grew from a PVC pipe importer to a manufacturer and distributor of swimming pool equipment, chemicals and water treatment solutions. It supplies the Swimart network, Australia's first franchised chain of pool stores, with around 75 locations across Australia and New Zealand. It also owns Davey, a 90-year-old brand known for household and firefighting pumps. As Waterco's business expanded, its ordering processes became increasingly dependent on customer service teams managing orders manually through phone and email. During peak seasonal periods, customers often needed multiple interactions to confirm pricing, stock availability and order status, creating operational bottlenecks and limiting scalability. "Our business has grown enormously since 1981, but the way many of our customers ordered from us hadn't kept pace," said Bryan Goh, chief operating officer at Waterco. "With BigCommerce, we are giving customers a modern, self-service experience that enables them to access the information they need and place orders when it's convenient, while empowering our teams to focus on service rather than data entry." Waterco selected BigCommerce for its flexibility, value and ability to support both B2B and B2C on a single platform. It also provides an intuitive, modern purchasing experience that does not require retraining. Since Waterco's operations span manufacturing, distribution, retail and trade, the platform also had to manage considerable complexity. It supports self-service quoting, pay-on-account with enforced credit limits and automated freight calculation for dangerous goods such as pool chemicals, alongside engines for backordering and promotions. A purpose-built spare-parts experience helps customers select the correct component when they first purchase, reducing returns on technical products such as pumps. "Bringing this to life meant rethinking how our business operates behind the scenes, not just how customers place an order," said Marco Contreras, head of IT at Waterco and project lead. "Every branch did things differently, so we had to standardize how orders are packed and shipped." Built using a composable architecture, the platform combines a React storefront on BigCommerce Catalyst with a custom middleware and a product information management layer connected to Epicor ERP as the source of truth for products, customers and orders. "Waterco's transformation demonstrates how manufacturers and distributors can modernise complex B2B operations without sacrificing the flexibility needed to support growth," said Shannon Ingrey, vice president and general manager, APAC at Commerce. "By moving to BigCommerce, Waterco has created a more efficient buying experience for customers while simplifying operations behind the scenes. It's exactly the kind of high-volume B2B business that benefits most from a powerful commerce platform." Waterco plans to continue its digital transformation by bringing its Waterco, Davey and New Zealand operations onto a single Epicor ERP environment. About Commerce Commerce (Nasdaq: CMRC) empowers businesses to innovate, grow, and thrive by providing an open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem.
