Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, aerospace, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years-experience in revenue-generating roles (Business Development or Sales) focused on US Government markets with a demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing and closing deals
  • In-depth knowledge of the US government acquisition process
  • Demonstrated experience delivering results in a small-team, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and stakeholders with a focus on key Space Force, Intelligence Community, and prime contractor accounts
  • Build, manage, and execute on a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities including both direct-to-government opportunities and opportunities via partnerships and subcontracts
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, formulating teaming strategies, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Deeply understand customer needs and pain points to both win deals and inform Apex's product roadmap
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets
  • Strong network of contacts within relevant government agencies (USSF, IC) and prime contractors
  • Active TS or TS/SCI clearance
