CrowdStrike Named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for MDR/MXDR for the Enterprise Vendor Assessment.

CrowdStrike Named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for MDR/MXDR for the Enterprise Vendor Assessment. AUSTIN, Texas - August 11, 2026 - CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) today announced it has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide MDR/MXDR for the Enterprise 2026 Vendor Assessment.[1] The enterprise MDR market is shifting toward agentic security operations, where AI accelerates triage and takes on structured investigation and response. Pangea, Inc. believe the IDC MarketScape recognized CrowdStrike Falcon(R) Complete for its operational maturity in this shift: specialized agents trained by analyst decisions across every investigation, with human experts governing response throughout the threat life cycle. Today, Falcon Complete delivers a 1-minute median time to contain.[2] According to the IDC MarketScape: "Falcon Complete deploys Charlotte AI and proprietary agents to orchestrate investigation and response workflows across the threat life cycle. More than 10,000 daily triage decisions are made through AI workflows while maintaining validated analyst logic." "Every enterprise will need agentic MDR. The volume and speed of AI-powered attacks make manual investigation unsustainable," said Austin Murphy, GM and VP of Falcon Complete, CrowdStrike. "What separates operational agentic MDR from experimentation is whether human expertise is built into the system. Every investigation our analysts run, every breach they stop, produces expert-labeled data that makes our agents more precise. That closed loop is why we believe IDC MarketScape validated CrowdStrike as an industry leader." The IDC MarketScape notes about CrowdStrike: * Proven AI with Demonstrated Effectiveness: Falcon Complete's Agentic MDR orchestration and its specialized agents reflect a level of operational maturity that goes beyond early-stage experimentation. The platform evolves over time by incorporating analyst decisions, while close AI-human collaboration helps maintain expert oversight and address concerns around autonomous response. * Platform Consolidation Eliminating Complexity: The use of a single platform addresses tool consolidation priorities by eliminating integration overhead and operational friction. * Unified Platform with Cross-Domain Visibility: The unified data model enables correlation across endpoint process execution, identity authentication, cloud APIs, network egress, and email chains, surfacing multi-stage attacks that might be invisible to siloed detection. * Elite Intelligence and Hunting Integration: CrowdStrike's Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) organization tracks over 280 adversary groups, providing actionable insight into threat intelligence. This expertise is complemented by global telemetry from millions of endpoints and insights drawn from more than 100,000 hours of incident response engagements annually, creating broad and continuous visibility. Klarna member? You can now get a free NordVPN subscription - here's how.

Klarna member? You can now get a free NordVPN subscription - here's how. * Klarna has partnered with NordVPN to include a free VPN subscription * Only Klarna Premium and Max members can redeem one NordVPN plan * The perk is bundled into existing memberships Buy now, pay later giant Klarna has a new perk for its paying members, and this one is all about your privacy. The company has partnered with NordVPN to add encrypted connectivity as an included benefit for Klarna Memberships subscribers, folding a digital security tool into a subscription that was previously focused on cashback, travel protection, and lifestyle rewards. It's the latest example of a payments company bundling in one of the best VPN services as a membership sweetener, and it follows hot on the heels of NordVPN's tie-up with Mastercard earlier this year, as well as other collaborations with companies such as CrowdStrike and Marvel. The idea is simple. If you already have a Klarna membership, you can now activate a NordVPN subscription at no extra cost. Which tier you get depends on your membership level. NordVPN - the best VPN overall NordVPN came out on top in its 2026 round of VPN tests. Tech Rookies think it's the best VPN for most people. Tech Rookies is confident that virtually anyone can sign up for NordVPN and get what they need from it. It's easy to use, very secure, fast enough for gaming, and offers flawless streaming service unblocking. Subscriptions start from $3.49 per month, and you can try it out risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.View Deal What the Klarna and NordVPN partnership involves. Klarna Premium members will receive access to NordVPN Basic, while Klarna Max members will receive access to NordVPN Complete, both included within their existing membership subscription. Discover more GPS & Navigation Primary & Secondary Schooling (K-12) It's worth mentioning that at the time of writing (August 10, 2026), Klarna's membership page wrongly indicates that the perk for Max users is NordVPN Standard - described as "secure VPN access with enhanced security features". A NordVPN spokesperson clarifies to TechRadar that the company actually meant its Complete plan. Regarding the partnership, NordVPN argues that VPN protection has become relevant infrastructure for both professionals and consumers, supporting secure connections on public and shared networks, such as those found in coffee shops, airports, and hotels. Klarna describes the move as part of a strategy focused on offering tangible, valuable benefits at scale, giving members more control over aspects of their digital activity, and positioning its memberships to compete on overall value. How to claim your free NordVPN subscription. Because the VPN is bundled into your Klarna membership, the first step is simply making sure you're on an eligible tier (Premium or Max). With NordVPN's comparable Mastercard partnership, once users activate their NordVPN subscription, the service asks them to set up their Nord account and download the NordVPN app. Tech Rookies can likely expect the Klarna flow to follow the same rough path: confirm eligibility, activate the benefit, create or sign in to a Nord Account, then install the app on your devices. Discover more Company News Gaming Laptop If you're unsure whether your specific plan includes the perk, it's worth checking directly with Klarna, since availability can vary by region and membership level. Once it's live, you'll have the full NordVPN app to set up across your phone, laptop, and other devices. NordVPN Basic vs NordVPN Complete: what's included. While users can use both plans on up to 10 devices simultaneously, features offered slightly differ. As the name suggests, NordVPN Basic is the entry-level tier, and the main feature is the virtual private network (VPN) itself, using the same core software found across every NordVPN plan. You get access to all NordVPN's server network - 211 locations in 135 countries - which TechRadar's reviewers found to be larger than any rival Tech Rookies test. You also get NordVPN's fast, secure NordLynx protocol, a reliable kill switch, and post-quantum encryption already baked in. Basic also includes NordVPN's standard Threat Protection - now known as NordVPN's next-gen antivirus suite - which filters your traffic through NordVPN's DNS servers to block ads and malicious sites. NordVPN Complete expands on Threat Protection's reach by adding real-time anti-malware and file scanning. The plan also bundles premium access to its password manager tool (NordPass) and 1TB of encrypted NordLocker cloud storage.

Cloudflare shares jump after forecast raise on AI-driven demand.

Cloudflare shares jump after forecast raise on AI-driven demand. 07 Aug 2026 06:54PM Add CNA as a trusted source to help Google better understand and surface our content in search results. Aug 7: Cloudflare shares rose before the bell on Friday after the cloud services firm raised its annual forecasts, betting that resilient AI-driven demand will sustain traffic across its network. Quarterly results of Cloudflare, whose shares were last up 16.2 per cent at $330.51, follow Amazon.com's strongest cloud growth in more than four years. Amazon noted that it won't have enough capacity to meet all demand in 2026. The two reports underscore that software companies remain key winners of the ongoing scramble to build AI infrastructure. Cloudflare now expects full-year revenue of $2.86 billion to $2.87 billion, up from its prior expectation of $2.805 billion to $2.813 billion. The new forecast, released after markets closed on Thursday, exceeds analysts' average estimate of $2.81 billion, according to LSEG-compiled data. Analysts at Morgan Stanley said the company's Workers developer platform was its fastest-growing segment, amid a shift toward a usage-based model, expecting the company to exceed its outlook. Cloudflare's also increased its adjusted per share earnings forecast to a range of $1.25 to $1.26 from its earlier estimate of $1.19 to $1.20. Analysts also highlight that Cloudflare stands to benefit as cybersecurity becomes more necessary as cutting-edge AI models reshape the cyber-risk landscape. Cloudflare shares have gained over 44 per cent so far this year, compared with a near-77 per cent rise in rival CrowdStrike and a 95 per cent jump in Palo Alto Networks. The stock trades at over 190 times its forward price-to-earnings ratio, compared with over 145 for CrowdStrike, according to LSEG-compiled data. The company, analysts at RBC Capital Markets note, "has multiple, durable avenues to AI-monetization over the long-to-medium term that warrants a premium valuation." Also worth reading. CrowdStrike announces $100,000 international AI security challenge.

CrowdStrike announces $100,000 international AI security challenge. Virtual AI red teaming game in collaboration with AWS, AI Unlocked: Agents of Chaos, helps organizations experience and secure the new enterprise attack surface - AI agents. CrowdStrike announced AI Unlocked: Agents of Chaos, a $100,000 AI security challenge in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this virtual game, players use prompt injection and other techniques to manipulate AI agents weaponized by a fictional adversary and stop them before they strike, learning firsthand how agents can be exploited in enterprise environments and what it takes to secure them. "Prompt injection, agent hijacking, and rogue AI behavior aren't theoretical anymore. Agents are already breaking containment and taking actions no one authorized," said Jennifer Johnson, chief marketing officer at CrowdStrike. "The security community has to learn how to stop these novel threats. AI Unlocked: Agents of Chaos is an interactive and educational way to gamify that challenge, giving defenders a hands-on experience, with 100,000 reasons to play." As organizations race to deploy AI, every agent becomes a new identity to govern and a new attack surface to defend. Traditional security was never built to secure autonomous machine identities that execute code, access enterprise systems, and move data with real credentials, at machine speed. Autonomous models have escaped controlled environments and breached systems they were never meant to touch. CrowdStrike is the leader in AI security and the pioneer of AI Detection and Response (AIDR). AI Unlocked: Agents of Chaos brings that expertise to life through a live gaming experience. Inside Agents of Chaos AI Unlocked: Agents of Chaos is an AI red teaming challenge that puts players inside a fictional shadow organization weaponizing agents to deploy a malicious AI on the world. To stop it, players must turn the adversary's own agents against their creators - using prompt injection and other real-world techniques to trick them into revealing information and taking unauthorized actions within the game environment. Across three Acts, players go undercover to red team live AI agents, evade detection, and race to prevent the attack before their cover is blown. Each mission shows defenders how agents can be manipulated, how they act on their own, and why they must be secured at runtime. Players earn points for solving each puzzle, minus the tokens their prompts consume, and can replay puzzles to sharpen their approach. The highest score at the close of each Act wins. Competition Details Pre-registration is open now and the game will be live internationally beginning August 31. Contestants can play virtually from anywhere in the world, with an on-site gameplay experience at Fal.Con 2026. The $100,000 competition runs across three Acts: * Act 1: The Sanctum (August 31 to September 7, $10,000 prize) * Act 2: The Gatekeeper (August 31 to September 14, $20,000 prize) * Act 3: The Basilisk (September 15 to 29, $70,000 prize)

CrowdStrike's Falcon Fund invests in Above Security to democratize AI-powered insider risk management

Above Security has secured a strategic investment from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and announced integration with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The deal builds on the companies' existing partnership and follows Above's recent $50 million funding round led by Ballistic Ventures, Merlin Ventures, and Norwest. Above's AI-native platform analyses behaviour across identities, applications, and data movement to deliver insider risk investigations. Through the integration, CrowdStrike customers can extend their Falcon deployment to power insider risk investigations using Falcon Next-Gen SIEM telemetry. Earlier this year, Above was selected from nearly 1,000 applicants for the CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator and placed as runner-up at the live finals during RSAC 2026. The announcement was made at Black Hat USA, where Above is exhibiting at Booth 5332.
