Pendo is looking to add an experienced marketing engineer to our dynamic, cross-functional web team: an all-star team of content creators, digital and growth marketers, and designers. Pendo marketing engineers are experienced developers who are also highly collaborative, expert marketers. We thrive on building engaging, on-brand digital properties that convert. The successful candidate will actively contribute to projects involving the full MarTech stack, facilitate the execution of online marketing campaigns, build standalone interactive experiences, and enhance the Pendo brand on a full range of marketing websites including pendo.io, campaign microsites, and event websites. The timing couldn’t be better to join our team as we’re kicking off a full website relaunch.

Role Responsibilities

• Support, build, and maintain a growing portfolio of best-in-class marketing websites
• Support new and on-going campaigns by building and maintaining landing page and email templates in Marketo
• Create custom Wordpress plugins and themes
• Effectively collaborate with brand design, campaign leads, writers, and digital marketers
• Write highly efficient, scalable code solutions that support speed to market without compromising quality
• Engage with marketing stakeholders as a thought partner, be ready to offer advice and expertise on web experiences

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with WordPress (ACF, custom theme and plugin development)
• Fluency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3/Sass/TailwindCSS, Lottie, Javascript, JQuery, MySQL, JSON, Git
• Experience with Marketo API, landing page and email templates
• Able to manage a complex workload and prioritize in accordance with business needs
• High standards of excellence and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js, React, Next.js. Faust.js, Headless Wordpress
