Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of offset sheet-fed printing experience is typically required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multi-color offset press equipment using 2 to 6 units is required.
  • Understanding of LAB values and the ability to make ink adjustments to maintain branded-match color compliance is required.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • The role requires working the night shift on a flexible 3-by-12-hour or 4-by-10-hour schedule.
  • The role may involve part-time work.
  • The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
  • Operate Komori LS and GL series automated six-color offset sheet-fed printing equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Perform machine make-ready, achieve run-speed standards and productivity efficiencies, and meet customer and quality requirements.
  • Monitor products for quality while minimizing waste and rework.
  • Apply G7 color theory, including gray balance, dot gain, and ink trap, to provide high-quality process printing.
  • Accurately record time and materials for each job and remain accountable for equipment maintenance.
  • Diagnose problems, make adjustments, troubleshoot equipment, and provide required maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Observe established safety and housekeeping procedures and follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
