Requirements
  • Complete all required training.
  • Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and tables to safely transport product.
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
  • Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, or unusual conditions to the department Supervisor or Lead.
  • Follow designated safety rules and regulations.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.
  • Dimensionally inspect work using appropriate tools, including calipers, comparators, pin gauges, measuring instruments, and surface plates.
  • Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products.
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms under the Quality Management System.
  • High school or equivalent education is preferred.
  • No previous work experience is required; manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Working experience with problem solving, quality inspection metrology tools, standard operating procedures, manufacturing safety, information capture, time management, and accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of quality management, mathematical ability, active learning, data entry, communication, and blueprint reading.
  • Extensive experience with hand dexterity.
  • Ability to remain stationary, move within the building, move and position equipment, and repeatedly handle, adjust, inspect, and position items and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with others and distinguish written information and defects.

Responsibilities
  • Set up dies and wax injection moldings for products and machines.
  • Perform wax assembly processes using handheld torches, heating elements and tips, dental picks, abrasive cleaning pads, cleaning sticks, and cleaning fluids.
  • Perform weekly housekeeping according to the 5S schedule.
  • Reinforce safety expectations, demonstrate safe operating practices, and report safety issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, or unusual conditions to the department Supervisor or Lead.
  • Follow designated safety rules and regulations.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
