- We are currently seeking an Exterior Design Intern who demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and can communicate through illustration and presentation imagery. They would have a clear understanding of the design process from sketch development through to the final model and be proactive, able to interact with the various members of the design team to gain experience and develop design and leadership abilities
Responsibilities
- Create conceptual design proposals with strong visual communication skills
- Develop exterior designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, craftsmanship, and suppliers to execute design intent into production
- Collaborate with the Interior & CMF design team to develop future luxury experience concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Design school enrollment, ideally specializing in automotive
- Good visual communication and presentation skills
- Experience with design concepts and production of models
- Forward, innovative thinking
- Understanding of premium and luxury space
- Clarity and calm approach within a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage tight deadlines and extraordinary challenges
- Professional, motivated, and proactive working attitude
- Good understanding of the design process from conceptual ideas to production development
- Ability to use relevant software: 2D and 3D
- Field(s) of study: Transportation Design, Product Design, or related fields
- Will consider undergrads Junior level or above Pursuing Bachelor's or master's degree
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
