- Install, configure, and implement VMware virtual infrastructure environments.
- Develop and implement VMware best-practice management and maintenance procedures to maximize virtual-machine-environment uptime.
- Provide technical leadership and expert support for assigned technologies or customers.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to provide high-quality and cost-effective customer service.
- Handle technology and customer situations independently under limited direction.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in the assigned technology areas, seeking assistance when required.
- Maintain full accountability for assigned deliverables and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to lower-level team members.
- Meet and exceed service-level agreements and customer expectations across assigned areas, including monitoring and alerts, incidents, service requests, change requests, work orders, patching, project work, vulnerability protection, security operations, asset management, tools and reporting, problem and risk management, capacity and availability, system performance, and engineering governance through standard operating environments, best practices, audit schedules, and onboarding acceptance-testing checklists.
