Requirements
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Insurance brokerage experience specifically in employee benefits is preferred.
  • Health and wellness or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Account management or project management experience is preferred.
  • Strong typing, organization, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and data-management abilities are required.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment is required.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment is required.
  • The ability to respond professionally and accurately to requests from a variety of clients is required.
  • Frequent travel, including possible overnight, multi-day, and out-of-state travel, is an essential function of the role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
  • The ability to use virtual meeting and collaboration platforms is required.
  • The ability to use or learn Microsoft Copilot and other company-supported artificial-intelligence productivity tools is required.
  • The employee must be able to sit at a computer for long periods, use a telephone frequently, and perform standing, walking, talking, hearing, sitting, and reaching activities.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds regularly.
  • An understanding of health insurance and related benefits is required.
  • Current HIPAA and HITECH guidelines and procedures must be followed, including maintaining the security of communications and documents that may contain protected health information.
Responsibilities
  • Manage new and existing client relationships and drive engagement within wellness programs.
  • Manage client customization and service integration projects to ensure successful program launches.
  • Manage overall account responsibilities for new accounts by coordinating with sales, brokers, consultants, and internal teams after implementation.
  • Understand and communicate client expectations and background to support successful WellnessIQ program launches.
  • Participate in implementation kick-off calls and ongoing project meetings with client stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate formal presentations covering products, plan design, member education, service results, and renewals.
  • Establish client point-of-contact relationships and develop and oversee account service strategies.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, deliverable tracking, and other project documentation to communicate progress internally and externally.
  • Organize and oversee client site visits, screenings, and health fairs as needed.
  • Own client service issues, coordinate with service partners to resolve problems, and communicate status updates to client points of contact.
  • Work with the Senior Wellness Strategy Manager and Wellness Strategy Team Leads to resolve client service issues.
  • Prepare proposals for system enhancements, submit enhancements to a change forum, track and manage them, and keep clients informed of progress and timelines.
  • Support client points of contact with benefit design changes.
  • Oversee client management reporting and present and communicate activity, quarterly, annual review, and financial performance guarantee data to clients and producers.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Strategy Team Lead and Vice President of Operations to develop and deliver engagement and strategy recommendations to clients.
  • Communicate operational and platform-related issues to the Vice President of Operations.
  • Develop and execute client management strategies that capitalize on new revenue opportunities for existing clients.
  • Deliver and manage client renewals to consultants, brokers, and clients to support retention, profitability, revenue, and satisfaction objectives.
  • Manage a book of business through post-implementation client growth phases, including short- and long-term strategy.
  • Work with the Client Experience Manager to meet project timelines and provide client support.
  • Assist clients in building a business case for wellbeing as a business strategy.
  • Use creativity and professional background to enhance client content and grow programs.
  • Use company-approved artificial-intelligence tools, including Microsoft Copilot, in daily workflows to improve efficiency, organization, communication, and productivity.
