- Possess and maintain Information Assurance Technical Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual 17-1303, Department of Defense Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Install, perform remedial repairs, and execute scheduled preventative hardware and software maintenance for Sony analog and digital video editing equipment, audiovisual equipment, audiovisual editing stations, video teleconferencing systems, and Crestron control systems.
- Install, perform remedial repairs, and execute scheduled preventative hardware and software maintenance on audio equipment, including speaker systems, microphones, portable audio, and public address systems.
- Utilize the NASIC trouble ticket tracking system to document, track, and account for all work performed.
- Monitor daily event logs for hardware failures.
- Install original equipment manufacturer firmware, software updates, and patches for control systems and audiovisual switching and routing.
- Troubleshoot and support televisions experiencing issues receiving or displaying base-provided cable television service.
- Install and integrate cabling, amplifiers, equalizers, taps, and splitters.
- Assist the Government Task Manager in updating architectural diagrams and documentation of all installations and changes in accordance with NASIC guidance.
- Provide inventory and accountability support for all IPCIII conference rooms in accordance with DAFMAN 17-1203 with minimal supervision.
- Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned for the next month, and important issues occurring during the month.
- Follow and contribute to local standard operating procedures and related knowledge-management documentation in accordance with NASIC guidance.
- Provide customer-oriented support to diagnose, resolve, and maintain printers, multifunction devices, plotters, 3D printers, and flatbed scanners.

Cates brings over 15 years of federal contracting experience. She previously led Indigo IT's growth team, securing major contracts in cybersecurity, cloud and enterprise IT services, and spent more than a decade with Bowhead Family of Companies managing billion-dollar pipelines.
