Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a systems administrator or analyst capacity using Athena Health applications in a provider practice environment.
  • Ability to communicate directly with physicians, practice operations, revenue cycle teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic health record, practice management, revenue cycle, and integrated solutions, specifically Athena Health clinical applications.
  • Participate in configuring and customizing clinical applications to meet the needs of specialty practices.
  • Work with end users to identify, document, and resolve clinical application issues.
  • Assist in developing and executing test plans, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for system updates and new system implementations.
  • Support data integrity initiatives through data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with information technology staff, clinical staff, and vendors to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Develop training materials and provide end-user training and support as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare technology and clinical applications.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, or an equivalent ticketing system.
  • Experience working with specialty practices.
