Summary

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to ensure product and system quality. Your primary responsibility will be to implement testing procedures on software programs. This includes developing testing procedures, carrying out the software testing and creating reports on the software’s performance. You need to be a problem-solver with attention to detail.

This is a full time onsite role.

Requirements

• Create testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the software
• Building software testing programs that automate testing processes
• Running the software testing procedures to evaluate the software
• Documenting all testing procedures
• Reporting bugs and making recommendations to improve the software product
• Collaborating with other Test Engineers, Software Programmers and other team members
• Retesting software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly
• Attending meetings with the development team, clients and other groups
• Implementing the use of best practices to achieve high quality deliverables
• Support the team in planning, backlog, and retrospective activities
• Build automated test frameworks for API, Mobile and Web testing
• Drive White and Grey box testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in test automation
• Experience building test automation solutions or automated internal frameworks
• Ability to lead testing activities with cross-functional teams
• Experience in at least one of the open-source load testing tools like Locust, K6, jMeter, etc.
• Demonstrable experience working with microservices, open-source tools and cloud based services
• Demonstrable experience testing solutions built on RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Experience with python is a plus

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
