We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
Springfield Junior School is part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust which totals eight schools across Stowmarket and Ipswich. Springfield is a popular junior school to the west of the town centre teaching children from ages 7 to 11. This is a three-form entry school with strong community support, a supportive and hardworking staff team as well as friendly and welcoming children. We deliver an ambitious and rigorous curriculum through CUSP as well as being a Gold OPAL school to develop the quality of outdoor play. Our school has recently been judged as 'Good' in all areas. You will:
have an understanding of working in a primary school setting
have an understanding of classroom management working under the direction of the class teacher/SENCO
have a positive and self-driven desire to enable all pupils to be successful
be able to model excellent communication and liaise closely with teachers.
