  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • five years’ progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any related occupation
  • 5 years’ experience working with the papermaking process
  • 5 years’ experience making alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) and alkenyl succinic anhydride (ASA) emulsions
  • 5 years’ experience making rosin emulsions
  • 5 years’ experience working with colloid stabilization systems
  • Employee must live within commuting distance of the Solenis Research Center in Wilmington, Delaware

Responsibilities
  • Participate in research projects directed toward the development of novel aqueous systems of hydrophobic materials (emulsions and dispersions) for applications in papermaking systems, especially the sizing of paper with an emphasis on internal sizing.
