Cybersecurity Engineering and Integration Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a lead cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of space and ground operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations expertise to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a seasoned cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with cyber engineering, integration and testing for ground and space, developing innovative cyber strategies, and cyber threat signatures of system of systems to impact our nation’s security defense.   

In this role, you’ll lead a team of professionals as they use cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses, as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to space, ground, and crypto systems.    

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis expertise to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for space, ground, and crypto systems. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:   

• 10+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field performing cyber engineering, cyber risk assessments, or cyber authorization activities

• Experience developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements

• Experience executing the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of cyber systems and networks

• Experience analyzing cyber vulnerabilities, assessing system compliance against security controls, and developing risk mitigation plans and strategies

• Experience advising clients and other personnel on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats

• Ability to lead the development and execution of incident response plans and comprehend and analyze cybersecurity documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Ports Protocols and Services Matrices (PPSMs), System Security Plans (SSPs), and Program Protection Plans (PPPs)

• Ability to ensure cybersecurity solutions are seamlessly integrated into existing systems and networks

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

• CISSP Certification

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams

• Experience working with major DoD space programs

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology preferred; Master’s degree a plus

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
