Perten, a PerkinElmer company specialising in food quality control solutions, has opened a Process NIR Center of Excellence at its Stockholm headquarters. The facility is designed to help food manufacturers adopt near-infrared technology for real-time process monitoring and quality control. The centre offers live demonstrations of Perten's benchtop, in-line and on-line NIR analysers using real samples, helping customers transition from traditional laboratory testing to continuous measurement. The facility supports collaborative development across various food sectors, including grains, cereals, dairy processing, snack foods and edible oils.
