Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of the Canvas subcontractor workforce, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.
  • Develop and implement program management plans, schedules, and milestones to track progress and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes, outputs, risks, and issues to senior leadership and government sponsors.
  • Directly supervise and coordinate activities of up to 200 personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Oversee all travel, ODC, labor, and programmatic expenditures, ensuring compliance with contractual and organizational policies.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; identify and mitigate risks related to resource allocation and cost control.
  • Ensure all program activities adhere to DoD, AFRL, TMAS, and Canvas contract requirements, including reporting, deliverables, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain contractor interface with senior levels of the customer’s organization, consulting with stakeholders to review task plans and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Canvas, Torch Technologies, government sponsors, and other subcontractors.
  • Facilitate recurring program meetings, status reviews, and technical interchange sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report directly to the Business Unit Director for TMAS Programs, ensuring clear lines of accountability and communication for program status, risks, and resource needs.

Daniel Cash promoted to Vice President of Business Development. 08.24.2026 Canvas is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Cash to Vice President of Business Development. Daniel joined Canvas as Director of Strategic Planning and has since advanced into executive leadership, bringing extensive experience in strategic growth, capture, and customer engagement across the defense and national security community. As Vice President of Business Development, he will lead Canvas' growth strategy and customer engagement efforts, working across the organization to align emerging mission needs with the company's capabilities in test and evaluation, engineering, digital modernization, software, and mission systems. Prior to joining Canvas, Daniel held business development leadership roles at QuantiTech and Axient, where he most recently served as Director of IDIQ/GWACs. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing growth strategies, building trusted customer and industry relationships, and positioning technical capabilities against evolving Department of Defense priorities. Daniel earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Alabama.
