Responsibilities
  • Provide technical troubleshooting guidance and job safety guidance to contract electricians. Ensure that the electricians understand and strictly abide by all Rubicon policies and procedures. Also assist with writing and approving electrical work plans and JSA’s with site electricians per site electrical work procedure.
  • Manage daily work assignments for site contract electricians, including assuring DAS scheduling of routine daily jobs from maintenance daily/weekly schedules; allocate manpower to emergency/break-in jobs as required from communication with the OMC’s and provide fill-in jobs from OMC’s when needed.
  • Manage daily PSM work assignments for site contract electricians, ensuring scheduling and due date attainment for all EHS and safety critical electrical equipment as well as routine PM’s.
  • Manage manpower requirements for contract electricians as needed to match incoming work loading requirements of the maintenance zones schedules to maintain schedule compliance. This will require coordination with the IAE Superintendent, Zone OMC’s, and the Sr. EI Engineer to assure proper manpower loading.
  • Manage electrical maintenance turnaround requirements as well as PM turnaround activities on all turnarounds for site. Manage staffing requirements for turnaround electrical work in coordination with IAE Superintendent, Sr. EI Engineer, and TA Coordinator to meet schedule requirements of TA project.
  • Act as TA Electrical Coordinator, reviewing and managing turnaround electrical work Gantt charts and schedule and recap meeting attendance during turnaround.
  • Arrange for and coordinate direction of outside contractors performing onsite repair, preventative maintenance, or installation of electrical equipment supporting daily and TA maintenance activities.
  • Assist Site IAE Superintendent and Sr. EI Engineer as needed with planning, scheduling, and coordinating manpower requirements for all predictive maintenance testing of electrical equipment.
  • Manage purchasing of OEM repair parts or complete replacements for electrical equipment and electrical components. Prepare paperwork and acquire RMA information for equipment to be sent offsite for repair.
  • Assist with selection and purchasing of required test equipment and tools for all electrical tasks at Rubicon. Assure that test equipment is up to date with calibration certificates and send out for recalibration or repair as needed.
  • Assist contract electricians with SAP data collection and maintaining accurate documentation of the site electrical equipment and repair history with guidance from Sr. EI Engineer and IAE Superintendent.
  • Update electrical equipment files with correct information forwarded from field mark-ups and/or changes generated from actions of MOC’s through site Documentation Request system in Lotus Notes.

Huntsman expands Hungary facility to boost specialty amines capacity for polyurethane and coatings markets

Huntsman Corporation has opened an expanded Performance Products manufacturing facility in Petfurdo, Hungary, increasing its global capacity for specialty amines production. Huntsman shares jump 8.94% ahead of $0.0875 dividend payment

Huntsman Corp. shares jumped 8.94% to $12.80 on Thursday as investors positioned ahead of the dividend record date. Shareholders on record as of 13 March will receive $0.0875 per share, payable on 31 March. The dividend follows improved fourth-quarter performance, with attributable net loss narrowing 32% to $96 million from $141 million year-on-year. However, revenues declined 6.7% to $1.355 billion due to lower selling prices in polyurethanes and performance products. For the full year, Huntsman widened its net loss 50% to $284 million, whilst revenues fell 5.8% to $5.683 billion. The company generated approximately $300 million in operational cash flow, achieving 45% free cash flow conversion despite challenging market conditions.
