- Minimum of 10 years Oracle DBA experience.
- Experience working in Database Administration for Oracle 10g, 11g, & 12c stand-alone and RAC environments on Windows 2008 R2 & Windows 2012 with a good working knowledge of AIX/Linux.
- Oracle database software installation and software patching experience.
- In depth knowledge of monitoring (Oracle Cloud Control), tuning and database design standards.
- Project management skills, ANSI SQL &PL/SQL Programming and a working knowledge of ETL operations a bonus.
- Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Exadata architecture and Delphix are also highly recommended.
- Monitoring and tuning database performance.
- Ensuring that data is appropriately protected via database backup and related strategies.
- Loading, or assisting in loading of, database software, upgrade and patching.
- Assisting with the evaluation and selection of infrastructure components and providing operational support for the database, ensuring data integrity, database availability, and performance.
- Providing resolutions to technical problems.
- Assisting management with short/long-range planning for hardware and software changes and additions.
- Serving as a project lead for software acquisition or upgrades.
- Administering Oracle 10g, 11g, & 12c stand-alone, RAC (including Exadata), and FailSafe environments on Windows 2003, 2008 R2, and Windows 2012 as well as AIX, RedHat, & Oracle Linux (Exadata) platforms.
- Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Exadata architecture and Delphix are also highly recommended.
