Requirements
  • Gain visibility to normalized, connected, and useful data sets across the RIA's business that were previously messy, disparate, and incomplete
  • Retain and increase wallet share, with end-clients and at scale, by using business intelligence, effective next best actions, and practice valuation analytics
  • Minimize financial and compliance risks over time by enabling more uniform, data-driven portfolio management processes and alleviating unintended bias
  • 10+ years of software product management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial technology role
  • BS/BA in computer science, business administration or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Managed the significant and successful growth of a product management department or function
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with clients, colleagues and cross-functional teams, as well as third parties
  • Working knowledge of the RIA sector in the Wealth Management industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and self-starter
  • Experience working within an agile release train and partnering with other Product Owners within the train
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a vision, road-map, growth opportunities, and product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Set direction for Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk
