Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history
  • The ability to obtain trade licenses and registrations in accordance with State and local regulations as required
  • Experience with security systems and low voltage wiring is not strictly required but a thorough understanding of intrusion, Fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems is included as context for the role
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, working from high places and climbing ladders; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work in attics and crawl spaces with seasonal temperature fluctuations; use of ladders and power tools and moving equipment between worksites
Responsibilities
  • Perform quality service and installation work on an array of security products and services
  • Deliver completed designs and functionality to the customer in a professional manner while adhering to company standards and safety regulations
  • Diagnose and repair issues with alarm systems to ensure they function correctly for existing customers
  • Create exceptional customer interactions with education and care
  • Accurately complete work orders, time records, and maintain assigned work schedule
  • Manage and control inventory and utilization
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with security systems, low voltage wiring including intrusion, Fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems; Power tools and handheld tools experience; Preference for relevant experience with security installations; Willingness to obtain licenses and registrations as required (as a desired attribute)
