Requirements
- Ph.D or MS Degree with 15+ years or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to present work to cross functional teams
- A good track record of managing the foundry and bringing silicon products from engineering sample to production
- Extensive experience in product engineering data analysis including a strong understanding of what impacts performance and yield within foundry, assembly, and test processes
- Broad knowledge of DFT/test concepts, such as test strategy, scan, MBIST, LBIST, non-structural test (PHY, IO, analog), ATE, wafer probes, DFM. advanced process node and advanced semiconductor packaging
- Fundamental understanding of relationship between foundry process and CPU/GPU/SoC performance
Responsibilities
- Cruise is looking for Sr. Staff Product Engineer to take our custom silicon programs to the next level
- In this position, you will coordinate and drive new product development from the engineering sample phase to full production release

- Responsible for NPI and manufacturing
- Work with silicon partners to develop tests and validation plans, review and approve test coverage reports
- Drive characterization and manufacture validation and oversee qualification of new products
- Review failure analysis reports to resolve qualification failures
- Perform data analysis for yield enhancement, product cost reduction and device reliability improvement
- Support vendor RMA / FA team with debugging and data collection to root cause the problem, drive the implementation of the fix in the manufacturing process
- Coordinate with silicon partner and Cruise's own reliability team to make sure the custom silicon products pass automotive qualification and reliability tests
