Cybersecurity Data Analyst Intern

The Opportunity:

As a Cybersecurity Data Analyst Intern, you’ll architect, develop, and operationalize software solutions and systems that perform cyber data analytics at scale in a variety of technology platforms. You’ll apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, as well as limited industry knowledge. You’ll solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. You will work under direct supervision.

What You’ll Work On:

• Filter and analyze logs for anomalies.

• Develop scripts to automate infrastructure stand-up, data analysis, and reporting.

• Deploy and manage virtual environments and containerized applications, adhering to security controls of the platform.

• Support risk management framework (RMF) activities.

• Develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

You Have:

• Experience with Python

• Experience with virtualization tools

• Knowledge of network protocols and cybersecurity fundamentals

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Scheduled to obtain Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science by Spring 2026

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
