  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Molecular Biology/Genetics or related field
  • 3-5 years of cold-calling experience, work in CRMs, or sequencing laboratory experience
  • Experience with strategic selling/Professional Selling Skills (PSS)
  • 3-5 years of experience in prospecting, lead qualification, funnel management, drive to close, and ongoing account management
  • Ability to mentor more junior ISR colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills with prior experience working with distributors and engaging with customers
  • Comfortable conducting presentations to customers/peers/management
Responsibilities
  • Meet and/or surpass sales targets for instrument sales, sequencing consumables, and related services
  • Manage the customer sales process through various communication channels
  • Prospect and qualify sales leads from various sources
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM database for accurate lead qualification and forecasting
  • Advocate on behalf of distributor partners and resolve complex problems
