Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must have Military Intelligence designation background
  • Former Field Grade Officer, Warrant Officer 4/5, or Command Sergeant Major (CSM)
  • Military Education Level 4 (MEL 4) or equivalent: CGSC, WOILE, or SGM Academy
  • Proficiency in U.S. Army decision-making and synchronization processes
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Familiarity with current Army and Joint Doctrine
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas
  • Ability to travel globally up to 25% and support operations of up to twelve hours per shift during WFX and other exercises
Responsibilities
  • Train and support inexperienced military simulation operators to use the system, conduct role-play functions aligned with their military specialties, and report on activities
  • Certify military simulation operators in basic simulation skills and role-play competency prior to exercise start
  • Control simulation inputs to ensure accurate application of U.S. Army, Joint, and emerging doctrine
  • Enhance scenario realism through effective coaching and role-play supervision
  • Supervise the translation of doctrinal tasks, commander’s intent, and plans into simulation inputs and scripts
  • Resolve simulation output errors (adjudication) and assist operators with simulated task organization, equipment, resupply, and casualty scenarios
  • Support After-Action Reviews (AAR) by communicating key events via the Workstation Reporting System (WRS)
  • Maintain current knowledge of Army and Joint Maneuver doctrine for Brigade, Division, and Corps-level operations
  • Coordinate with Observer/Coach/Trainers (O/C/T) to ensure understanding of simulated force structures
  • Conduct exercise design and scenario development
  • Participate in pre-exercise planning activities including Site Surveys and planning conferences
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in a designated Warfighting Function (WfF) for simulation rules development
  • Assist in the training and certification process of a designated WfF
  • Maintain designated WARSIM WfF Data Base
  • Act as a point of contact for assigned administrative duties
Desired Qualifications
  • Graduate of a U.S. Army warfighting function-specific officer career course
  • Experience serving as a key staff member in a warfighting function at Battalion level or higher
  • Graduate degree
  • Experience at the Brigade or higher staff level
  • Prior experience supporting MCTP or a comparable military constructive training program
