Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited college or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, finance, or a closely related area, with at least 2 years in a managerial role focused on position control or workforce planning
  • Minimum three years of experience in advanced trend analysis and the ability to interpret data to provide recommendations to drive key business decisions
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing Position Management or a similar planning platform
  • Strategic Thinking and Vision: Ability to conceptualize and implement effective position control strategies that align with the organization's broader goals and adapt to changing workforce needs and market conditions
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, guide, and develop a team dedicated to position control management
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess complex data related to workforce planning, position management, and budget allocations; Proven problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions effectively

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Position Management: Lead the oversight of the position control database, ensuring all positions are accurately coded, classified, and updated promptly
  • Advanced Workforce Planning: Work in partnership with department leaders and HR to assess staffing requirements, forecast future vacancies, and strategize on workforce planning initiatives
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the Finance department to align position control data with budgetary projections and constraints, providing comprehensive reports on staffing costs and budget variances
  • Compliance and Auditing Leadership: Ensure strict adherence to both internal policies and external regulations related to position management. Conduct and oversee rigorous audits of position data for accuracy and integrity
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement strategic improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of position control management practices. Develop and maintain up-to-date procedural documentation
  • Educational Leadership and Support: Lead training sessions and provide ongoing support to department managers and HR personnel on position control practices and systems. Serve as the expert resource for all position management-related inquiries
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate detailed reports and analyze data on staffing trends, vacancy rates, and other critical metrics to offer insights that guide decision-making in workforce management
  • Upholding Data Integrity: Ensure the complete accuracy and timeliness of all position-related data within the company’s systems
  • Ensuring Compliance: Maintain unwavering compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements pertaining to position management
  • Achieving Budgetary Alignment: Skillfully manage position data to meet fiscal goals and limitations, effectively minimizing discrepancies and optimizing resource allocation
  • Championing Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and enhance position control processes and systems to boost precision, efficiency, and adaptability to the organization's evolving needs
