- A high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) credential is preferred.
- Six months to one year of customer service-related experience is preferred.
- Open and close the assigned donation center site according to the department schedule and guidelines.
- Accept donations according to established guidelines, greet and assist donors, complete donation receipts accurately, and appropriately refuse or redirect unsuitable donations when necessary.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the donation center site in a clean and organized condition, including sweeping the perimeter, storing donations neatly, removing debris and trash, and maintaining the Unattended Donation Center when applicable.
- Complete daily administrative tasks accurately and promptly, including donor counts, donation receipt submissions, and daily tally sheets.
- Safeguard donations and company property from damage and theft and treat them with respect and care.
- Communicate supply needs, unusual situations, and safety concerns promptly to the appropriate Supervisor or Coordinator.
- Load donations safely and accurately into bins and organize them inside donation trailers.
- Assist Truck Helpers and Truck Drivers with loading donations into Goodwill trucks when needed.
- Communicate daily with Dispatch regarding current product volumes and transportation or service needs.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
