Responsibilities
  • Release and print hot expedite orders received from Culpeper.
  • Review orders to identify priority and time-sensitive requirements.
  • Use computer systems to access, process, and track orders.
  • Enter and update information accurately in the appropriate systems.
  • Distribute printed orders to the appropriate production areas.
  • Communicate with production regarding hot orders and required completion times.
  • Monitor the progress of released expedite orders and follow up as needed.
  • Help ensure priority orders are completed in time to meet the scheduled truck departure.
  • Gather hot and priority parts from the production areas.
  • Verify parts against the appropriate orders and shipping requirements.
  • Assist with processing and moving hot parts through the remaining production and shipping process.
  • Coordinate with Shipping to ensure expedited parts are packaged and ready for loading.
  • Assist with packaging and staging parts for the nightly truck.
  • Prioritize work based on the nightly shipping schedule and customer requirements.
  • Communicate shortages, delays, or issues that could prevent an order from shipping on time.
