Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing certificate
  • Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to practice leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, quality improvement and professionalism
  • Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
  • BCLS, ACLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIHS Stroke Certification, current and maintain
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Department setting.
  • Communicate with physicians, Nurse Director, and other co-workers about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing care standards for medical surgical services.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Serve as the Resource nurse role when oriented and as directed.
  • Support the organization vision and mission.
  • Utilize knowledge of patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
  • Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
  • Rotate on call schedule as required.
