- Knowledge of NASA-STD-8739.4 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
- Familiarity with signal and communication standards such as RS-232, RS-422, SRIO, XAUI, Ethernet, SpaceWire, telemetry, MIL-STD-1553, LVDS, and SGMII
- Experience with fiber optic cabling for space flight
- Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) for collecting S-parameter data
- Design cable assemblies and interconnects for GSE applications
- Interface with other groups to ensure functionality and manufacturability of design approaches
- Manage and release drawings for assemblies
- Maintain bill of materials for assemblies
- Design complete cable and test configurations for EMI testing to MIL-STD-461
- Design complete cable and test configurations for TVAC testing meeting outgassing requirements
- Coordinate scheduling with program leadership
- Assist manufacturing with documentation, tooling, and support
- Design cable assemblies for flight applications to customer requirements
- Assist in the improvement and documentation of SEAKR processes
