Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading multiple product development cycles from concept to launch
  • 5+ years of product management or related industry experience, with domain expertise in Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or Analytics
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
  • Proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and coordinate resources (e.g., design, legal) to achieve key milestones
  • Expertise in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience gathering and synthesizing diverse requirements from multiple stakeholders and translating them into effective product solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and execution capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence and guide teams
  • Experience defining and driving vision and strategy for a product
  • Expertise in navigating the full product lifecycle, incorporating customer feedback into product requirements, and managing prioritization and execution pre- and post-launch
  • Proven experience leveraging ML/AI to build large-scale consumer products
  • Experience with SaMD (software as a medical device) a plus
Responsibilities
  • Dive deeply into the experience and psychology of users, leveraging data insights to identify pain points in their weight loss journey and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Lead a cross-functional team through an agile process, using data analytics to ensure the right problems are prioritized, and guide iterative development of machine learning models and features aimed at improving weight loss outcomes.
  • Analyze user behavior through machine learning models and quantitative data, using insights to drive innovation and enhance the effectiveness of weight loss programs and features.
  • Integrate company strategy, user feedback, and machine learning-driven insights into product requirements, ensuring a differentiated user experience that is both innovative and data-informed.
  • Define clear, data-backed product goals, functionality, and requirements for stakeholders and the execution team, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
  • Own business metrics for product areas, using machine learning insights to track, manage, and analyze key performance indicators related to weight loss, reporting them regularly to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new advancements in machine learning to proactively address potential threats and ensure our product remains competitive in the weight loss space.
