Responsibilities
  • Work with the Pullo Center Director to plan and produce events and performances by supporting strategic oversight, daily management, and long-term development of Front of House operations.
  • Support the Director with administrative tasks, including coordinating calendars, meetings, logistics, and staff schedules.
  • Lead the development of policies, manuals, workflows, and standardized operating procedures to improve efficiency, clarity, and the guest experience.
  • Identify and address guest-service issues, accessibility needs, safety concerns, and conflicts professionally and discreetly.
  • Become proficient in the Ticketmaster system and serve as a support resource for Box Office staff.
  • Evaluate ticket-sales analytics, research sales trends, and report findings to the leadership team to inform marketing, promotion, and booking decisions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned community rental clients after contracts are finalized.
  • Coordinate with technical, box office, facilities, security, and campus teams on event planning, setup, staffing, ticketing, and client needs.
  • Coordinate the event-advance process by aligning stakeholders and distributing the information needed to execute each event.
  • Provide on-site coordination during rental events, including distributing day-of-show schedules, overseeing client load-in, communicating with stakeholders, and troubleshooting in real time.
  • Oversee post-event cleanup and load-out, verify that the theater is clear, confirm staff and crew hours are recorded, and complete event follow-up and debriefing with the leadership team.
  • Partner with the Pullo Director to ensure patrons, artists, staff, volunteers, and rental clients feel welcomed and supported.
  • Uphold hospitality standards based on respect and community building.
  • Oversee volunteer ushers in conjunction with goals established by the Director and leadership team.
  • Ensure performances are staffed with volunteer ushers by communicating needs, creating schedules, conducting pre-show meetings, and serving as the primary usher contact during events.
  • Maintain ticket-scanning equipment and radios.
  • Plan and coordinate hospitality needs for performances and crew meals.
