Position Summary

This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025. 

CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. 

Our office locations for this role are Scottsdale, AZ or Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $27.50 per hour, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.Please disregard the range listed below.

What you will do 

Our Enterprise Engineering Team is leading our next generation of GenAI solutions and autonomous agent systems. As a new team, you will work under experienced Principal Engineers to assist the enterprise in implementing production-grade AI systems.

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Required Qualifications

Meet Education Requirements (see Education section)

Demonstrated proficiency in .NET framework, .Net Core, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript

Database experience or knowledge with both SQL and NoSQL architectures

Must be able to code in Python

Knowledge or experience in Azure cloud environments

Knowledge or experience in retrieval-augments generation (RAG)

Knowledge or experience using Docker and Kubernetes

Knowledge or experience inn Vector Databases (FAISS, Pinecone)

Must be proactive, self-starter that leads with Innovation and Growth Mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership experience (e.g., student organizations, sports, or work-related projects)

Internship or work experience in a related field

Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

Strong understanding of AI technology, experience or studies in the area is preferred

Knowledge or experience in ML systems/frameworks (Py Torch/TensorFlow)

Knowledge or experience in Software Design and Architecture is a plus

Education

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $38.82
