Requirements
  • Extensive industry experience, including resource management and demand pipeline management, with a record of success navigating and driving engagements with large enterprise organizations focused on Forward Deployed Engineering.
  • Extensive experience within a Forward Deployed Engineering or consulting organization as a Partner Manager and/or Consulting Manager.
  • Experience managing partner or third-party organization enablement, including upskilling teams to provide delivery capabilities.
  • Experience working directly with partners and customers to gather, prioritize, plan, and execute solutions to customer business requirements as they relate to technology.
  • Experience managing commercial agreements with partners, including statements of work to support services management.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Forward Deployed Engineering team to use Databricks delivery partners to accelerate customer project outcomes.
  • Build and develop Forward Deployed Engineering relationships with Global System Integrators, Regional System Integrators, and the regional Partner team to support bi-directional pipeline reviews and engagements, including subcontracting and advisory work.
  • Build a request-for-proposal process and create templates and scorecards to support data-driven partner selection for large, complex, multiyear, multiphase migration deals.
  • Lead efforts to incubate and ramp new partners with generative artificial intelligence capabilities.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews with priority partners and develop long-term roadmaps for professional services partner delivery priorities.
  • Develop scorecards and feedback loops to segment partners by focus areas, regions, and company priorities.
  • Drive delivery governance to ensure partner quality and delivery on services-led and partner-supported implementations.
  • Support global programs measuring partner quality, including customer satisfaction, partner surveys, and program governance.
  • Lead programs aligned with the Forward Deployed Engineering and Partner strategy for assurance and advisory services.
  • Work with cross-functional channel teams to enable Global System Integrators, Regional System Integrators, and System Integrators on assurance services and support biweekly reviews and deal governance.
  • Support partner intellectual property efforts, including creating service delivery kits to scale the ecosystem.
  • Liaise with delivery partner organizations to ensure personnel have the required training and certifications to deliver Databricks projects according to best practices.
  • Champion and provide thought leadership for specialization programs, and implement and lead programs to achieve requirements and exceed delivery quality.
  • Build and maintain an onboarding process for partner resources to ensure effective utilization and quality of services across Databricks customer deliveries.
  • Work with the Databricks resource management team to oversee pipeline planning with each delivery partner and ensure timely partner resource availability for Databricks services opportunities.
  • Allocate and outsource projects to services partners, select the appropriate partner for each project, and work closely with the partner to ensure project success.
  • Work with legal, people operations, and other cross-functional organizations to support bi-directional contractual negotiations.
  • Advocate for partners' needs internally and manage escalations and project issues involving partner-delivered work.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators for each services partner.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and partner resources.

Databricks has appointed former Amazon Web Services executive Briscoe to lead its Asia Pacific & Japan partner organisation. She previously headed AWS's partner operations in the region and held similar roles at Microsoft and Cisco. The move supports Databricks' regional expansion. In April, the company named Simon Davies as regional leader and reported over 85% year-on-year growth in its fourth quarter. It now has more than 1,500 employees across Asia Pacific & Japan and plans to establish headquarters in Singapore. Coatue Management is reportedly leading a $3 billion investment in Databricks, according to recent reports. The data analytics company previously raised roughly $5 billion earlier in 2026 at a $134 billion valuation. Databricks sells a lakehouse platform combining data lake and data warehouse capabilities and has expanded into AI software for enterprise applications. The company reported $5.4 billion in revenue run rate in February, up over 65% year on year, which grew to $6.9 billion by June. The earlier financing round included $2 billion in debt capacity intended to fund AI products, acquisitions and employee liquidity. At its current valuation, Databricks exceeds Snowflake's market capitalisation of approximately $83 billion. Management has indicated the company may remain private until market conditions improve.
