Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in HRIS roles, with 2+ years specifically in Workday Advanced Compensation
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compensation structures, and data management
  • Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, External Interface Bridges (EIBs), and basic Workday security model
  • Experience in testing, issue resolution, and process documentation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Advanced Compensation including merit, bonus, and equity modules
  • Configure and support annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus plans in Workday
  • Maintain and update compensation grids, eligibility rules, compensation plans, and compensation review templates
  • Partner with Compensation and HR teams to translate business requirements into technical Workday configuration
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases; validate configuration during User Acceptance Testing and resolve defects or configuration issues
  • Develop and maintain compensation reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer or Prism Analytics
  • Support Workday releases and evaluate impact on Advanced Compensation modules; implement necessary changes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to compensation transactions, eligibility, approvals, or system logic
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Payroll, Finance, HR Business Partners) for seamless compensation process delivery
  • Maintain documentation for configuration, process design, and user training
  • Provide training and guidance to HR users and managers on compensation processes within Workday

  • Workday Pro Certification in Advanced Compensation OR Advance Comp Certified by Workday
  • Experience with stock/equity compensation administration in Workday
  • Familiarity with Workday Human Capital Management, Core Compensation, and Talent modules
  • Experience working in global organizations and supporting multiple geographies
