Real Estate Development Intern

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Maintain Project Management software to oversee the accuracy and timely flow of the deal process between the initiation of a potential acquisition, subdivision, and development of land development projects.

· Upon contract execution – review draft contracts and update project software with deal terms.

· Track critical dates to ensure timely completion of residential subdivision projects.

· Maintain a separate development dashboard in the form of Excel for the purpose of providing a monthly development report for the Operations Team.

· Create a lot inventory database and track the sale of lots to Home Centers.

· Manage title issues with Development Manager and/or attorney to ensure no deal deadlines are impacted by Seller title obstacles.

· Work with Development Manager, Seller, and Title company to facilitate the closing process.

· Update Home Center managers and Regional VP’s on projected delivery dates.

· Develop regional unit rate cost database from historical contracts and engineer estimates.

· Research comparable comps for project needs.
