Responsibilities
  • We are seeking outstanding investigators conducting basic or translational research focused on neurobiological processes and/or therapeutic approaches aimed at improving symptoms or altering the course of disease.
  • Candidates with research programs centered on aging, neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders are especially encouraged to apply.
  • The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.
  • These new faculty members will complement the department’s strengths in circuit-level neuroscience, sensory neuroscience and spinal cord injury research and will thrive in our collaborative, interactive and interdisciplinary work environment.
  • Associate Professor level candidates must have established extramural funding, while Assistant Professor level candidates should demonstrate a clear plan for developing and sustaining an innovative, externally funded research program (e.g., through federal agencies, private foundations or industry contracts).
