Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as a technical consultant, progressing through development, team or technical lead, and technical manager roles, preferably with most experience at consulting companies rather than contracting companies.
- Strong database programming and database development skills.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata, Oracle Middleware, Sun, Oracle Virtual Machine, and VMware.
- Deep experience operating, deploying, and developing on the Oracle Database platform, including PL/SQL, contingency and data replication strategies, licensing, and immediate action and support.
- Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Experience developing Oracle databases and writing applications that interface with Oracle databases.
- Experience writing PL/SQL.
- Experience designing tables, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Management experience as either a direct supervisor or peer-group leader.
Responsibilities
- Plan, architect, migrate, tune, and support applications and databases from physical servers to virtual or cloud environments.
