Raiz Federal Credit Union transforms community banking with Alkami's Digital Sales & Service Platform.

Raiz Federal Credit Union transforms community banking with Alkami's Digital Sales & Service Platform. Sep 03, 2026, 10:00 ET New case study reveals how the El Paso-based credit union cuts account opening and funding times from days to minutes, increases monthly digital login from 30% to 49%, and helps prevent more than $286,000 in reported fraud PLANO, Texas, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Alkami Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALKT) ("Alkami"), a digital sales and service platform provider for financial institutions in the U.S., today announced a new case study highlighting how Raiz Federal Credit Union (Raiz), a credit union serving over 79,000 members in El Paso, Texas, is using Alkami's Digital Sales & Service Platform to modernize its member experience and build a stronger foundation for growth. Raiz has expanded its relationship with Alkami to encompass the full Digital Sales & Service Platform. The credit union is live with the Alkami Digital Banking Platform and MANTL Onboarding & Account Opening, and is implementing Alkami's Data & Marketing Solution to support more personalized and relevant member engagement, and identify opportunities to deepen relationships through targeted product offers. By connecting onboarding and digital banking across online, branch and call-center channels, Raiz is improving access to everyday banking, reducing manual work for employees, and giving its team more time to focus on financial guidance and relationship-building. "Alkami is helping us make banking more accessible, efficient, and connected for our members while preserving the Red Carpet service that defines Raiz," said Amy Krasikov, vice president of digital experience at Raiz. "We're proud to serve the El Paso community today, and we're excited to bring the warmth and care to people across the nation. Through digital banking, we aim to make our support accessible wherever and whenever it's needed. With Alkami, we've created a stronger digital foundation for today while continuing to find new ways to engage members with greater relevance and impact." With a lean technology team focused on strategic priorities, Raiz sought a modern, integrated platform that could improve member access, streamline operations, and support stronger relationships. The new case study highlights how the credit union is extending its member-first experience beyond the branch. With Alkami, Raiz has: * Modernized its nine-branch experience: By 2024, all nine branches had transitioned to a fully digital model without traditional teller functions or cash drawers. Member service representatives can focus more on financial guidance and relationship-building, while routine transactions are supported through the Alkami Digital Banking Platform and enhanced self-service ATMs. * Reduced the time needed to open and fund accounts: Online account opening decreased from up to nine days to approximately four minutes; in-branch account opening decreased from 30-45 minutes to under 10 minutes; and call-center funding decreased from two to three days to approximately nine minutes. * Strengthened fraud prevention: Alkami's layered fraud prevention capabilities helped Raiz prevent more than $286,000 in reported fraud during the first year. * Increased digital engagement: Monthly digital login increased from 30% to 49%. "Raiz is demonstrating how community financial institutions can use technology to make banking easier and more accessible without losing the human connection that sets them apart," said Benjamin Conant, chief product officer at Alkami. "By connecting onboarding, digital banking, and data and marketing through Alkami's Digital Sales & Service Platform, Raiz is giving members more convenient ways to bank, helping employees spend more time on meaningful guidance and building a stronger foundation for long-term growth." Abramson will oversee global finance, legal and administrative functions. Fox will lead global engineering and product teams, accelerating platform innovation and advancing governed AI across the company. Wilson will oversee customer success, support, enablement and customer operations, helping clients maximize the value of Engageware's platform while scaling customer experience initiatives globally. Each has built, deployed and scaled AI inside real businesses in regulated markets. Together they strengthen every critical area of our company, from product innovation and operational scale to customer success and growth. With this team in place, Engageware isn't just participating in the AI revolution in regulated industries, we're positioned to lead it." Alkami just became the digital banking platform everyone's talking about.

Alkami just became the digital banking platform everyone's talking about. Alkami Technology (Nasdaq: ALKT) just claimed the top spot as the #1 digital banking solution for credit unions in the U.S. But wait, there's more - they're also now the fastest-growing digital banking platform for banks. Talk about having your cake and eating it too. The data comes from FI Navigator, a company that basically does the heavy lifting when it comes to tracking banking industry analytics. They ranked Alkami at the top for credit unions based on retail mobile banking enrolled users, and tagged them as the speediest grower for banks when looking at net market growth across retail mobile banking clients and deposit accounts. "Digital banking has become foundational to a financial institution's growth strategy," said Alex Shootman, Alkami's CEO. Translation? If your bank or credit union isn't nailing the digital experience in 2024, you're bringing a flip phone to a smartphone fight. The proof is in the performance. Now, before you write this off as just another company tooting its own horn, let's talk numbers. FI Navigator's data reveals something pretty compelling: credit unions that have been using Alkami's platform for five years or longer are absolutely crushing it compared to their peers. Here's the breakdown of how these Alkami-powered credit unions are outperforming national averages: * 1.3x faster asset growth * 1.9x more deposit account growth * 2x member growth (yes, double) * 1.7x deposit balance growth * 1.4x revenue growth * 1.4x loan growth Those aren't just incremental improvements - they're the kind of numbers that make board members do a double-take during quarterly reviews. Why this matters. Curry Pelot, CIO and founder at FI Navigator, put it pretty simply: "Alkami's continued leadership in credit union market share and momentum in the bank market highlight the value of a digital banking platform that helps financial institutions grow, compete, and better serve their account holders." What makes Alkami's platform stand out isn't just one flashy feature. They've built an ecosystem that brings together everything from onboarding and account opening to data analytics, marketing tools, business banking, payment security, and a whole network of integrated partner capabilities. Think of it as the Swiss Army knife of digital banking - everything you need in one place, working together instead of in silos. The bottom line? Financial institutions partnering with Alkami aren't just keeping up with the digital transformation everyone keeps talking about. According to this data, they're actually using it to pull ahead of the pack. And in an industry where standing still means falling behind, that's worth paying attention to.
